Thousands on California coast ordered to leave ahead of possible mudslides

(Reuters) - Authorities on southern California's Pacific coast ordered thousands of residents to evacuate their homes on Tuesday to avoid possible mudslides caused by rain on hills denuded by wildfires of vegetation.
