WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Bureau of Land Management on Tuesday auctioned off more than 51,000 acres (21,000 hectares) in southeastern Utah to oil and gas drillers, a sign of strong industry demand in a region conservationists have vowed to protect.
