Ex-Trump campaign manager Manafort seeks to dismiss Virginia charges

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, asked a federal judge in Virginia on Tuesday to dismiss an indictment brought by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, saying the case falls outside the scope of Mueller's authority and is unrelated to Trump's 2016 election campaign.
