After U.S. mass shootings, mayors demand Senate call special session on gun bills

Mayors of the two cities that endured mass shootings last weekend were joined by more than 200 of their counterparts on Thursday in demanding that the U.S. Senate return from its recess to pass gun safety legislation already approved by the House of Representatives.
